When a renowned architecture scholar falls suddenly ill during a speaking tour, his son Jin finds himself stranded in Columbus, Ind., a small Midwestern city celebrated for its many significant modernist buildings. Jin strikes up a friendship with Casey, a young architecture enthusiast who works at the local library. As their intimacy develops, Jin and Casey explore both the town and their own conflicted emotions.
Prior to the screening of this film, there will be a short presentation by T. Kelly Wilson. Wilson will provide insight into Columbus, Indiana's rich architectural history and the importance it plays in the world of modern architecture. T. Kelly Wilson is the Director of the J. Irwin Miller Master of Architecture Program and Associate Professor in the IU School of Art, Architecture and Design.
This film will be presented outdoors at the Cummins Indianapolis Distribution Headquarters Plaza. Please bring a bring a blanket or lawn chair as seating will be limited.
